Research Interests
The broad goal in my laboratory is to better understand the interaction between biological and physical phenomena in microbial systems. Our primary focus is on filamentous fungi. We study fundamental problems using a sophisticated set of analytical tools to assess fungal morphology and the material properties of fungi. We use proteomic analysis to assess changes in global protein expression patterns revealing molecular level events associated with various phenotypes.
