Research Interests
We are interested in the pathogenesis mechanisms of Aspergillus fumigatus. Particularly, we are interested in how Af adapts to hypoxic microenvironments found at sites of infection and how production of trehalose affects A. fumigatus-host interactions. We use bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, mycology, immunology, and molecular biology techniques to conduct our research.
